Matthew Morgan of Morgan Casting is excited to host his Actors Audition Intensive Class at Northwood Acting Studio in Shreveport, Louisiana Saturday, April 15th. Matthew will give you the inside scoop on what casting directors look for when hiring actors. How do you make a great impression and stand out with your self-tape, live audition, or virtual callback? Come hear his best tips! This session will cover Live Auditioning and Video/Virtual Auditioning, as well as a variety of exercises and techniques including but not limited to improv work, on-camera scene work/auditioning techniques, audition do's and don’ts... plus a variety of fun acting exercises along the way. Want feedback directly from a casting director on your performance? Ready for a redirect? This is your chance. ALL ACTORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME PREPARED WITH A 60-90 sec audition scene of your choice. We will wrap up the day with 15-30 minutes of Q&A, your chance to ask Matthew whatever you like. Note: This class is a learning experience. It is not an audition or employment opportunity. Space is limited. Please note that a $75 deposit is required to reserve your space. Cancellations must be received 14 days prior to the workshop for a full refund. You will receive an invoice to pay the balance which will be due 7 days prior to the workshop. The discounted rate is for monthly Northwood Acting Studios ONLY who will be active members in April. If you are. not a fully paid active member in April you will be required to pay full price.

Cancelation Policy

Please be aware that we charge 1/2 price for same-day cancellations and full price for no-shows. Online cancellations are allowed up to eight hours before your appointment time. For cancellations within the eight-hour window, please contact us directly. Cancellations within two hours of the appointment time will be considered a no-show. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we ask that you give us as much notice as possible to allow other actors to take advantage of the available appointment time.
