The Jimmy G Scholarship Fund is awarded on a rolling basis, contingent upon the availability of funds to cover a three-month scholarship period. Applicants will be notified via email or phone if they are selected. The scholarship provides a three-month class package valued at $450, covering acting classes at Northwood Acting Studio.

All applicants must complete the application form in its entirety, including answering all questions and providing any requested uploads (e.g., videos). Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Video Submission Guidelines
As part of the application, you will be asked to upload a video answering specific prompts. Please prepare ahead of time to ensure your submission is complete:

Video Length: 3–5 minutes.

Content: Introduce yourself, share your passion for acting, explain why you want this scholarship, and how it would impact your journey.

Technical Requirements: Submit your video as an MP4 or MOV file (maximum 100MB). Ensure you are in a quiet, well-lit space for clear audio and video quality.
Selection Process
Scholarship recipients are selected by a committee based on the application materials submitted, including the video. All decisions are final and made in alignment with the values of the Jimmy G Scholarship Fund.
Transparency and Media Use
By applying, you consent to your name, image, and story being shared on Northwood Acting Studio’s website, social media, and other promotional materials as part of the scholarship announcement and updates.
Future Eligibility
If awarded, the scholarship covers three months of classes. After this period, recipients must reapply to be considered for future scholarships, subject to fund availability.
