Before enrolling your child in our young actors class, we require you to come and observe one of our classes to see if our studio aligns with your needs and goals. During our comprehensive acting class, working actor Garrett Kruithof guides students through the skillsets necessary to make it in the competitive film and television industry. Your child will learn how to prepare for auditions, create believable characters and relationships, and act with scene partners in front of the camera. Our monthly class is divided into blocks, where we focus on one scene for two weeks. Week one is dedicated to audition technique, while week two focuses on scene study with a partner. We repeat this process in weeks three and four with a different scene. In months with a fifth class day, we offer an extra class at no additional cost, providing an opportunity to dive deeper into industry techniques and topics that we may not cover in our other classes. Please note that the class your child observes will depend on the week you choose to attend, either focusing on audition technique or scene study with a partner. However, regardless of which week your child attends, they will gain a firsthand experience of what our studio offers and how our training can benefit their acting career. Whether your child is a seasoned actor looking to refine their skills or a newcomer eager to start, this class is the perfect place to begin. Through practical lessons, hands-on experience, and personalized attention, we hope that you and your child will leave the audit excited to start or revitalize their acting career. Don't miss this opportunity to take your child's acting to the next level! Please note that the scenes used for our young actors class are rated PG and below, and we try to stay away from darker subjects and themes for the comfort of all participants and due to the wide range of beliefs among our families. However, we understand that some young actors may need to prepare for or may wish to work with more adult or darker themes for certain roles. In such cases, we offer private coaching to help prepare your child for these types of material. Please contact us directly for more information regarding private coaching sessions.
Please be aware that we charge 1/2 price for same-day cancellations and full price for no-shows. Online cancellations are allowed up to eight hours before your appointment time. For cancellations within the eight-hour window, please contact us directly. Cancellations within two hours of the appointment time will be considered a no-show. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we ask that you give us as much notice as possible to allow other actors to take advantage of the available appointment time. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
